A Song of Ascents. Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life for evermore. - Psalm 133:1-3
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is harvest time and we have been blessed by God’s plentiful gifts bestowed upon the workers in His vineyard. We want to thank all, past and present, who have worked so diligently for the parish of Holy Trinity, and to express our gratitude and our love to all of you.
Summer time has long faded away and festival time is over. It is hard work putting the festival together as you all know; however, the church community has a great time bonding with one another each year at this time. Sadly, with many of us, this happens only once a year at festival time. Our church and community are somewhat diminished and less vibrant as a result.
Fall is here and we are not that far away from the holidays. It is a wonderful time to partake in worship in the Divine Liturgy and to enjoy the fellowship that church life offers. What a great sight it would be to see all of us filling the church and fellowship hall during this wondrous season.
To those whom we don’t see very often, please accept this as an invitation to join us once again in being an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community. We love you and miss you!
Please join us in worship and fellowship on November 13, 2016 for Reunion Sunday. We look forward to seeing all of us together to share in the blessings of our Lord’s vineyard.
With love in Christ from all the parishioners of Holy Trinity!
In His service,
Fr. Peter A. Day, Proistamenos
